Walang Maiiwan PH, a non-governmental organization, conducted its relief operation to help the victims of Typhoon Ulysses in the Dumagat-Remuntado community at Rodriguez, Rizal yesterday, November 22.
Eleven volunteers went to the area to distribute the relief goods to roughly 130 Dumagat families at Sitio Kabuoan, Brgy. Puray, Rodriguez, Rizal.
Repacking of goods was done yesterday at the Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan at Brgy, Sta. Ana Extension Hall, Taytay, Rizal.
The said relief operation will also help the Dumagat communities at Tanay, Rizal and Norzagaray, Bulacan. The donation drive is still ongoing to raise funds for the goods to be distributed to the families.
This was in partnership with various organizations namely Project Katutubo, Ako Bakwit, Millenials PH-Taytay Chapter, Angat Kabataan, Melomoves, The Freehand, PUP Legend, Poverty Reduction Alliance, PUP Spectrum, Peaceperity, Impact Leadership, SHS Assembly of San Francisco High School, and PUP Students’ Integrated League of Interior Design.—Chrisha Nicole C.
