TODAY | Earlier today, the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Rizal Kalayaan 100 Chapter announced its partnership with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila - College of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment for their new initiative, Archi-Tech for a Cause. Representatives from both institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their partnership.
The initiative aims to provide assistance and support to deserving and aspiring architects, allowing them to manage the rigors of their studies and achieve their academic goals. Meanwhile, Ar. Jonas from UAP Kalayaan had a meeting with The Freehand and UAPSA-PUP representatives to discuss the dissemination of this project.
UAP Kalayaan will provide brand-new laptops with the appropriate specifications to assist two of the brightest architecture undergraduates of PUP. In addition, three deserving students who are pursuing their thesis (Design 10) will receive financial assistance to help them complete their Design 10.
Archi-Tech for a Cause is a significant step forward for the architecture community in the Philippines, demonstrating UAP Kalayaan and PUP's dedication to supporting the next generation of architects and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
