Fire hits Brgy. Alima, Bacoor Cavite

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

Third-year CADBE student Maki Fallorina calls for donations after their house was burned down in the recent fire at Brgy. Alima, Bacoor, Cavite around 10 PM last night, November 1.

In a chat interview with The Freehand, Fallorina narrates said unfortunate experience as well as their family's current situation.

According to him, he woke up at around 9 PM when the situation is still calm until a few minutes later, he heard his neighbor screaming telling people that there is a fire nearby.

Fallorina then went out and saw that the fire is already as big as an entire house. When realized that others are still unaware of the incident, he and his brother went down and screamed to inform others about the fire.

Aside from their TV, PC set (that was only lent to him), and important documents, they weren't able to save any more of their things, not even their clothes.

He tried to return for his school supplies but was not able to do so due to the rapidly spreading fire as the houses are closely connected and are built mostly of light materials.

Currently, Fallorina and his family are residing at his sister's house nearby.—Chrisha Nicole C. Acal/The Freehand News
