To cast expectations for a better tomorrow?
Will we be heard? or will we be seen?
Or cast aside like it has always seemed?
The coming of a new age is a looming shadow
A changing narrative for the people to follow
A hope that seeps a craving for a better tomorrow
A power that hears the voices that cry of sorrow
A joining of hands is a thirst for all that is good
Bridging people to those in power should be understood
A new age should be seen as a different picture
One that garners a change and a brighter future
