14 architecture students comprise the pioneer batch of UAP SoCal Chapter Scholarship Grant

The United Architects of the Philippines Southern California (UAP SoCal) Chapter announced the first fourteen architecture students-scholars from Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP Manila), Rizal Technological University (RTU) and Far East Air Transport Incorporated University (FEATI University) last June 17, 2022.


UAP SoCal Chapter is a duly accredited architects professional organization founded in Los Angeles, California and one of the foreign-based chapters with a national headquarter office located in Manila, Philippines.


UAP SoCal sponsors aspiring architectural students by providing scholarship grants. This platform enables the eligible individuals to successfully accomplish their goal towards completing a degree in Architecture and further pursue for licensure as per UAP SoCal Chapter President, Ar. Lucille E. Floresta.


The grant recipients are the following: Carlos Dela Cruz, Kueena Madeloso, Jayson Ramos and Andrew Serrano are 1st-year architecture students from FEATI University; Leanne Gonzales, Alyza Borromeo, Sean Chavez, Zamira Miraflor, Deanne Syling and Reena Bautista are 1st-year architecture students from RTU; Russel Bulosan, Rogen Dayton, Rafael Salaguste and Marie Sumatra are 5th-year architecture students from PUP Manila. These scholars all passed the application requirements and specified criteria with flying colors.


One of the grantee, Mr. Salaguste, said that UAP SoCal Chapter plan to continue their scholarship grant for the following years.
